Usha Pitts, Principal Officer

Principal Officer Usha Pitts

Usha Pitts joined the Foreign Service in 1998 and has served tours in Vienna (international organizations), Rome (international organizations), Washington (Operations Center), Havana (economic), Moscow (consular-political) and Panama City (consular-political).

Prior to joining the State Department she worked at the World Bank as a research assistant.  She has an MA from the George Washington University in political development and a BA from the University of Massachusetts in Latin American development.

Usha is from Massachusetts and has two children, Maxim (age 10) and Cassia (age 7), who will accompany her to post.
