Apellate Judge Sílvio Beltrão gives a medal of honor to Toni Fine

Fordham University Law Professor Toni Fine traveled to Recife on August 6 and gave two lectures to judges and Law students. Fine spoke on Judicial Activism in the US at a regional Appellate Judge conference and gave a talk to approximately 150 law students at Marista College on the topic of Recent Developments in Gay Marriage in the US.

The events were promoted by PE State Appellate Judge College ESMAPE in partnership with the U.S. Consulate in Recife. Each lecture was followed by a Q&A session.  Toni Fine is the Assistant Dean for International and Non-JD Programs at Fordham University.
